Flavor Media Privacy Policy
Our GDPR and privacy statement
Welcome to our Privacy Policy. Flavor Media respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal information you provide when you use our website. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it and your rights in relation to that information.
Who we are
Flavor Media is a video production company based in London. We spend our days creating films across the UK and internationally, and we are committed to maintaining our visitors' trust and confidence.
We want you to know that Flavor Media is not in the business of selling, renting, or trading email lists with other companies for marketing purposes. Our focus is on creating video content and supporting our clients – so we simply don’t do that sort of thing. To reassure you further, this Privacy Policy explains when and why we collect personal information, how we use it, the limited circumstances in which we may share it, and how we keep it secure.

Type of data we collect
Cookies
Our website is hosted and operated using Wix. As part of providing the website, Wix uses certain essential cookies and similar technologies to provide core website functions, maintain security and ensure the site operates correctly. Wix states that essential cookies may be placed without consent where they are necessary for the website to function.
Depending on the features enabled on our website, Wix may also use non-essential cookies or similar technologies. Where these are used, we will use the Wix privacy and cookie tools to provide visitors with appropriate choices and, where required, obtain consent before using non-essential cookies.
You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie settings available on our website. Wix also provides information about the cookies that may be used on Wix websites and how they can be managed.
Wix may process technical information about visitors, including IP address, browser and device information, and information relating to website usage and security, in order to provide its website hosting, security and related services. For personal data processed through our website on our behalf, Flavor Media is the data controller and Wix acts as a data processor.
Wix may store or process data in different locations, including outside the UK or European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred internationally, Wix states that it applies appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
For more information about how Wix processes personal data, please see the Wix Privacy Policy.

Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics or any other separate third-party analytics service unless this is specifically added to the website in the future. If analytics is added, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what service is used, what information it collects and how visitors can manage their consent.

We do not currently operate a mailing list or send mass marketing newsletters through the website. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and obtain consent where required before sending marketing communications.
Storing Information and Third Parties
We do not sell, rent or trade visitors' personal information with third parties.
If you contact us through a contact form on our Wix website, the information you provide may be stored and processed through Wix's systems so that we can receive and respond to your enquiry. We may also receive enquiries directly by email, in which case your information will be stored within our email client (Gmail).
We use Google Workspace for business email and related services. Google may process information on our behalf in providing those services.
Wix may process information on our behalf as part of providing website hosting, security, forms and other website services. Wix's role and processing of personal data are subject to its own privacy and data processing terms.
If your personal information becomes essential to a production – for example, if it needs to appear on a production call sheet – it will only be shared with individuals directly involved in that production.
We will only share personal information with other third parties where it is necessary to provide a service, required by law, or otherwise permitted under applicable data protection law.
